December 2015: Advertising & Marketing Communications students filled a presentation room at the on-campus Harris Learning Library to capacity.
With college dignitaries, Program Advisory Committee members, faculty and fellow students in the audience, four 'ad agency' teams presented their comprehensive communications plans to the DNSSAB executive team, which included Chief Administrative Officer Joseph Bradbury and Communications Officer, Marianne Zadra.

In the words of Marianne Zadra, "DNSSAB appreciates the considerable work and thought that went into developing a detailed advertising campaign for us, designed to increase awareness about our organization and the services we offer to those in need . . . In answer to our request to develop an anti-stigma/poverty campaign around social services . . . your group was able to develop a cohesive plan coming in under our budget. . . not an easy task! There was considerable detail given to us in your plan, including printing, translation and advertising costs, radio commercial scripts, and a finely produced video to be used as part of a social media campaign . . . The DNSSAB sincerely hopes this 'real world' experience was as beneficial for you as it was for us, and we wish you continued success as you pursue your career in this field."
