Most companies have rules to stop employees from using social media while at work or from putting up anything that is linked to their company without approval.
What if companies turned that around and decided to celebrate their employees over social media, or allowed them to post about work using a hash tag that easily can be linked back to the company?
Work can have its day where employees start to feel either tired, worn out, or under-appreciated for the work they have done simply because 'it's their job.' Everyone likes to be celebrated and I think social media is the perfect way to do so, especially for companies.
Not only will celebrating an employee improve their confidence in the work environment but it can look good on the company. It will help create an image that this company appreciates not only their customers but their employees also. Sharing the positives of their employees creates a positive atmosphere. To avoid any negativity, don’t allow anyone to comment. It's all about getting the word out about the employee, for people to see and talk amongst themselves.
