My field placement is an unusual one to say the least. Leaving my home maybe once or twice a week to meet with my supervisor, but otherwise I’m at home writing. The hours aren’t exactly set in stone and how I do the work revolves largely around my own preferences.
What do I want to do? What do I want to learn?
I want to hone my craft, improve my writing capacity.
Sometimes the words I say and put on paper are so convoluted and complex that the average reader isn’t invested or nearly attentive enough to care what I have to say. I need to write for the common man and I hope that this placement will help me make my work more relatable and understandable.
If I can improve my writing, and learn new things about topics I’ve never touched on before, then I will be satisfied with the experience of field placement.
