“In 2007 Apple launched the first iPhone, Facebook and Twitter went global, Kindle and Android were released, Google bought YouTube, and Airbnb was created.” (www.cnbc.com)
Sometimes we forget how far we’ve come in 10 years, so to think about what the media and communications world will be like in the next 10 years might be a little hard (or even crazy).
Perhaps the technology in 2027 will be so advanced that we’ll all have a device or app like Cher’s Closet from the movie Clueless (1995), where we will be be able to share our outfit ideas with all of our following on social media.
Something like this would obviously have it’s pros and cons. Pros being that you would always have a second opinion on your outfit before you leave your house, cons being that people might use this as an opportunity to be mean and rude.
All in all, it would be fun to have a tech-enabled wardrobe where you could share what you’re wearing immediately with your friends. Who knows, maybe this would be the “OOTD” posts of 2027.
